Shima restaurant was the first Teppanyaki restaurant in Singapore, set up in 1980. Since the early days, diners at Shima not only enjoyed the great tasting cuisine, but also appreciate the skilled manoeuvre of its chefs dishing out succulent beef and tender chicken; exotic seafood like lobsters and air flown giant oysters etc with flair and finesse, right before their eyes. With 30 years of existence as one of Singapore’s most reputable Teppanyaki restaurants, Shima continued to thrive on consistent taste and quality, and superior ingredients air-flown from Japan and other parts of the world. Some of Shima’s Teppanyaki chefs have been with the restaurant for as long as the restaurant has existed. They have been trained in Japan under the guidance of Japanese Teppanyaki Master Chefs.
